Note: Make sure your scanner is connected to your computer, plugged–in, and turned on before you start ABBYY FineReader. To install a scanner after installing the program, please consult the user guide supplied with the scanner for installation instructions.
If you do not have a scanner, you can
still recognize image
files using ABBYY FineReader 8.0. You will find sample image
files in the ABBYY FineReader/Demo folder on the program
CD-ROM.
