The View Menu

Menu item: What does it do:
Batch Window> Changes the Batch window position in the ABBYY FineReader main window:
  • Maximize - maximize the Batch window;
  • Thumbnails View - displays the the Batch window in the Thumbnails view mode;
  • Details View - displays the the Batch window in the Details view mode;
  • Customize... - opens the Batch View Settings dialog;
  • Left - docks the Batch window to the left of the screen.
  • Top - docks the Batch window to the top of the screen.
  • Right - docks the Batch window to the right of the screen.
  • Bottom - docks the Batch window to the bottom of the screen.
Image Window>
  • Show - shows/hides the Image window.
  • Scale - changes the way the document is displayed:

  • You may select any scale value from 200% to 25%.

  • If you select the Fit to Width mode, there is no need to use the horizontal scrolling.

  • If you select Fit to Height mode there is no need to use the vertical scrolling.

  • If you select the Best Fit mode the whole page is displayed.

  • The Zoom In (Zoom Out) items double (halve) the image scale.

  • The Zoom to Selected Blocks item maximizes the selected blocks.
Text Window>
  • Show - shows/hides the Text window.
  • Scale - changes the way the recognized text is displayed in the Text window:

  • You may select any scale value from 200% to 50%.

  • If you select the Fit to Width mode, there is no need to use the horizontal scrolling.

  • If you select Fit to Height mode there is no need to use the vertical scrolling.

  • If you select the Best Fit mode the whole page is displayed.

  • The Zoom In (Zoom Out) items double (halve) the text scale.
Zoom Window> Changes the position and scale of the Zoom window position in the ABBYY FineReader main window:
  • Show - shows/hides the Zoom window.
  • Top - docks the Zoom window to the top of the screen.
  • Bottom - docks the Zoom window to the bottom of the screen.
  • Scale - changes the way the image is displayed in the Zoom window:

  • You may select any scale value from 800% to 50%.

  • If you select the Fit to Width mode, there is no need to use the horizontal scrolling.

  • The Pixel-to-pixel item displays image in its actual size in pixels.

  • The Zoom In (Zoom Out) items double (halve) the image scale.
Toolbars 
  • Shows/hides the selected toolbar. Select the toolbar you want to be shown/hidden.
  • Large Toolbar Buttons - increases/decreases the toolbar buttons.
  • Large WizardBar Buttons - increases/decreases the WizardBar buttons.
  • Show Text Labels - shows/hides the text labels on the WizardBar  buttons.
  • Customize... - opens the Customize dialog where you can add (remove) buttons to (from) the ABBYY FineReader toolbars.
Properties Opens the Properties dialog. The dialog will display the following information depending on what object is open: the type and size of the image as well as the resolution it was scanned with for an open image; the active block parameters for a block; page details for the selected batch page (when it was created, recognized, edited, etc.).
