| The electronic dictionary includes not only general dictionaries but various specialized ones: dictionary of medicine, law, economy, technology, chemistry, computer science and others. The dictionaries are placed on the virtual bookshelf in Lingvo 9. Each dictionaries has an icon. You can easily drag to another location or remove a dictionary from the bookshelf with the mouse pointer. If you search for specific terms only you can turn off dictionaries that are not used at the moment. There are 22 dictionaries in the English-Russian version and 49 in the Multilingual version.
