Use Lingvo 9.0 to create your own dictionary (and not one) on the topic which you are interested in - a dictionary of jurisprudence or sewing. The dictionaries are created directly in the Lingvo shell. And what is more you can create a dictionary for any language pair if you use the Multilingual version!
For creating volume, specialized dictionaries, use the DSL-Compiler utility shipped with LingvŠ¾. Dictionaries created by using this utility are more compact and take less disk space, at the same time the information in the dictionary entries are structured and divided into zone: translation, comments and examples.
