ABBYY Lingvo 9.0 can automatically generate all the word forms (i.e. the paradigm) for your query word.
To display all the word forms of a word:
You will see a List of Forms window containing all the word forms, or the paradigm, of your query word.
When Lingvo creates a list of word forms for a word, it uses the
morphology of the current source language. This is particularly
important to remember when you are working with several languages,
since different languages may contain words with identical
spelling.
Try getting all the word forms of the word explorer, for
example (type explorer in the Edit Line and either select
Show Word Forms... from the Tools menu or click
). If your current source language is English you will
see the word forms of the English noun explorer, if your
current source language is French you will see the word forms of
the French verb explorer, and if your current source
language is German a message will appear saying that Lingvo cannot
display the word forms of this word.
To change the current source language:
Click on the arrow in the left-hand drop-down list on the Language Bar and choose the language you need. You can also click to swap the source and target languages.
