Live ID
You can use a
Windows Live ID to help protect the sensitive financial information
in your Money file. With a Windows Live ID, you'll have access to
Money online features. And if you forget your password, Windows
Live ID can help you reset your password so you'll be able to open
your Money file again.
All personal information associated with your Windows Live ID is
encrypted, including your name and password. A Windows Live ID also
encrypts any information that's transmitted over the Internet.
Several online features in Money use Windows Live ID
security-enhancing technology. When you use a Windows Live ID with
Money, you can:
- Retrieve account information from a large number of banks and
brokerages.
- Set up access to your accounts and portfolio on the MSN Money
Web site. This enables you to access your Money data from any
computer that's connected to the Internet.
