Install the latest Money updates
Periodically, Microsoft Money Plus Home & Business releases updates that help to keep Money running smoothly and synchronize it with changes to the way banks and brokerages exchange information. Updates are easy to download.
To install the latest updates for Money:
  1. Close all programs, and then connect to the Internet.
  2. Start Money, and then sign in to your Money file.
  3. If you are prompted to download the Money updates
    If you are not prompted to download the Money updates
    2. When you are prompted to install the updates, click Yes.
  4. After updates are installed, close Money, and then restart your computer.

Note

If you have trouble updating Money, another application, such as an antivirus program or a firewall, may be preventing Money from accessing the Internet. You will have to configure the firewall or the antivirus program to let Money access the Internet. For more information, see the documentation that came with your firewall or antivirus software. If you do not have any firewall or antivirus software installed on your computer, your installation of Money may be damaged.

To resolve this problem, remove and then reinstall Money. After you reinstall Money, follow the steps above to update Money.
