Export an account from Money
You can
export (To save data
in a different file format so that it can be used by another
program, such as a tax preparation or spreadsheet program. )
account information from Money to use in other software programs.
When you export an account, you don't remove the account from your
current file; you only make a copy of it to use elsewhere.
- On the File menu, click
Export.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Warning
When you export an account, some information is not included,
such as abbreviations and comments.
Notes
- You can only export a single account from your Money file at a
time.
- The exported account information will be in the .QIF
format.
- Identify the exported file with a name you can easily recognize
(for example, "Household Checking.qif").
