Use Money to change a password at a bank or
brokerage
Some banks and
brokerages allow you to change your online password from within
Money. To change passwords online, you must first set up
online services
(Services provided by your bank or brokerage for common
banking tasks, such as paying bills, over the Internet. )
for your
account
(A
group of transactions in Money for a single bank, brokerage,
retirement, loan, or credit card account. Accounts can also track
assets such as houses or vehicles, or investments that you want to
watch but do not own. See also watch account.) . For more

Set up
an account you'll update online.
- Click Banking, and then click Account
List.
- Click the name of an account that's set up to receive online
account updates.
- In the left pane under Other tasks, click
Change account settings.
- Under Online Services, click Change
bank or brokerage passwords.
- Near the bottom of the page, click
Advanced.
- Select the account containing the password you want to change,
and then click OK.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Note
If you've set up online services for your bank or brokerage but
the name does not appear in the Change Financial
Institution Password dialog box, the bank or brokerage
does not allow you to change your password using Money. If you have
questions, contact your bank or brokerage.
