Using visualizations

Visualizations are plug-ins that display splashes of color and geometric shapes that change with the beat of the audio that is playing. When Windows Media Player is in full mode, visualizations display in the Now Playing feature. When the Player is in skin mode, visualizations display only if the skin supports it. When the Player is in mini Player mode, visualizations can be displayed in the Video and Visualization window.

Visualizations are grouped into collections based on specific themes, such as ambience or spikes. You can add and remove visualization collections or download additional collections from the Internet. You can also set properties for some collections.
