Info Center View pane

A component of the Now Playing feature, the Info Center View pane displays detailed media information, if available, about the music files that you are playing. This information is provided as a Web page in the Player by the currently selected online store, if one is available. Otherwise, the information is provided from a database hosted by WindowsMedia.com. The Web page may contain links that you can click to display specific information, such as artist information, album information, or lyrics. If no detailed media information is available, the last visualization (or a previously enabled plug-in) is displayed instead.

You cannot display the Info Center View pane and the Video and Visualization pane at the same time.

Notes

• To show the Info Center View pane, on the View menu, click Info Center View.
• The privacy option Display media information from the Internet must be enabled so that the Player can obtain media information from the currently selected online store or from WindowsMedia.com.
