Setting options for ripping CDs

You can set the following options by using the Rip Music tab:

• Change the storage location for CD tracks.
• Specify whether tracks are ripped to your computer in Windows Media Audio or MP3 format.
• Protect ripped tracks from illegal distribution, copying, and sharing.
• Specify the sound quality of music copied in the Windows Media Audio format.

To access the Rip Music tab

• On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Rip Music tab.
