To change the soundtrack language

Do one of the following:

To set the soundtrack language for a selected Windows Media file or DVD, on the Play menu, point to Audio and Language Tracks, and then click the appropriate language or other option.
A bullet appears next to the language or option that is currently selected.
To set the default soundtrack language for all Windows Media files and DVDs, on the Play menu, point to Audio and Language Tracks, and then click Defaults. In the Default Language Settings dialog box, in the Audio language list, click the language in which you want the soundtrack to play.

This feature is only available for Windows Media files and DVDs. Not all Windows Media files and DVDs support alternate soundtrack languages.
If you change the soundtrack language while progressively downloading a file, the file restarts from the beginning.
