To play special features on a DVD

Play a DVD.
On the View menu, point to DVD Features, and then click Root Menu.
The root menu of the DVD appears in the Video and Visualization pane.
In the Video and Visualization pane, click the links to the special features, if applicable.
On the View menu, point to DVD Features, and then click Close Menu (resume).
Not all DVDs support this function.

This procedure may vary depending on how the DVD you are playing was authored. For example, on the View menu, you may need to point to DVD Features, and then click Title Menu instead of Root Menu.
Not all DVDs contain special features. The company that produced the DVD determines the information and links that appear on its root and title menus.
