To remove stored information from the list in the Open dialog box

  1. On the Windows taskbar, right-click the Start button, and then click Properties.
  2. On the Start Menu tab, click Customize.
  3. If you use the Windows XP Start menu, on the Advanced tab, click Clear List.

  4. If you use the Classic Start menu, click Clear.
