To search for items in your library

  1. Click Library.
  2. Type the text that you want to search by in the box next to the Search button Search button.
  3. Click the Search button Search button.

    The search results are displayed in the Details pane.

  4. Do one of the following.
    To Do this
    Play the items that were found In the Contents Pane, right-click Search Results, and then click Play.
    Queue up the items that were found to the Now Playing list so that they can be played In the Contents Pane, right-click Search Results, and then click Add to Now Playing List.
    Queue up the items that were found to the Burn list so that they can be burned to a CD In the Contents Pane, right-click Search Results, and then click Add to Burn List.
    Queue up the items that were found to the Sync list so that they can be synchronized to your portable device In the Contents Pane, right-click Search Results, and then click Add to Sync List.
    Save the items that were found to a new playlist In the Contents Pane, right-click Search Results, and then click Save as New Playlist.
    View the search results again In the Contents Pane, click Search Results.
