How To...Lighten/Darken Printed Documents

The Lighten/Darken setting adjusts the overall lightness or darkness of the text and images in your printed documents. This feature can be used to create lighter documents that resemble image setter and DocuTech output, or darker/bolder documents that resemble the output of traditional laser printers.

 This feature has no effect when the Toner Saver (Conserve Dry Ink) setting is selected.

To lighten or darken printed documents:

  1. Select the Image Options Tab.

  2. Use the slider bar to modify the lightness or darkness of the document. To change the setting, select the bar and drag it or click to the left or right side of the bar.
