The Check Spelling Tab in the Options Dialog

Settings group
Stop at words with uncertain characters If you set this option, the spelling checker will stop at words with uncertain characters (these characters are highlighted, you may set the highlight color on the General tab in the Options dialog).
Stop at words not found in dictionary If you set this option, the spelling checker will stop at words  not found in the dictionary. 
Stop at compound words If you set this option, the spelling checker will stop at such words that are not found in the dictionary but may be made up according to the available morphological models. Available only if Stop at words not found in dictionary option is set.
Ignore words with digits and special characters If you set this option, the spelling checker will consider all words with digits to be correct. Available only if Stop at words notfFound in dictionary option is set.
Skip prompting for word forms (English dictionary only) If you set this option, all words will be added to the English dictionary "as is" (no paradigm is created). Available only if Stop at words not Found in dictionary option is set.
Correct spaces before and after punctuation marks If you set this option, the spelling checker inserts missed spaces after punctuation marks and removes unnecessary spaces before punctuation marks automatically. The punctuation marks in question are: , : ; .
Uncertain Characters group 
Error display level
  • None - recognition errors are not highlighted.
  • Standard - unrecognized and uncertainly recognized characters are highlighted.
  • Thorough - the same as Standard, not found in the dictionary words are highlighted too.

Note: The number of the errors displayed in the Text window will change after you re-read the page.
User Dictionaries group
View Dictionaries
(button) 		Opens the Select dictionary dialog. Select the language you want to create a user dictionary for or edit the user dictionary for.
Browse Opens the Select folder dialog. You may select the folder to store the user dictionaries for predefined languages in this dialog.

Note: The correct processing of user dictionaries requires that all the users working with these dictionaries have the writing rights for the folder the dictionaries are stored in.
