Installation on a Network Server and on a Network Workstation

(System administrators only)

Installation of ABBYY FineReader 7.0 Corporate Edition on a network server can only be carried out by the system administrator. The installation consists of two stages. First, the program is installed on the server. From the server the program can be installed on workstations using one of the four methods:

using Active Directory
using Microsoft System Management Service (SMS)
form the command line
manually in interactive mode

To install ABBYY FineReader 7.0 Corporate Edition on the server:

Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
Run setup.exe from the FineReader CD-ROM with the /a command-line option.
