You may set the number of the first page in this dialog:

| Odd and even separately | Sets the numbering mode in which the page numbers are like this: 1,3,5,7 or 2,4,6,8 etc. You may find this mode useful, for example, if you scan many double-sided pages - first you scan the odd side, then you scan even side. |
| Ask for page number before adding page to the batch | If you set this option, ABBYY FineReader will ask you to specify the page number before it adds it to the batch. |
