If you change your Windows Live ID password on the Internet while Money is closed, Money cannot access the new information until you connect to the Internet from Money. Start Money, and then make sure you're connected to the Internet. Money will detect your new Windows Live ID settings. You can then use your new password to sign in to Money.

You can't recover a Windows Live ID password that you've forgotten. However, you can reset it by creating a new password.

For the sake of simplicity, you can use only one Windows Live ID for each Money file.

You may have used a different Windows Live ID for your Money file and your MSN Bill Pay account. If you want to use both Windows Live IDs, try closing Money, and then accessing MSN Bill Pay from another browser, such as Internet Explorer. However, it's usually more convenient to use the same Windows Live ID for both your Money file and your MSN Bill Pay account, so you may want to change the way you sign in to one or the other.
