You can select a displayed device to configure its properties or change file conversion options to reduce the amount of time that is required to synchronize files to a device by using the Devices tab in Windows Media Player.

The Player includes the following additional options that you can use to synchronize pictures in .jpg format to supported devices, maintain your auto-ratings, synchronize licensed files with an expiration date, and clear the device history cache in the Player.
