How To...Print Draft Documents

The Conserve Dry Ink feature causes all solid black areas in your document to be printed in shades of gray, thereby reducing the amount of Dry Ink (toner) required to produce the images and text in your document. Using this setting is recommended for verifying document content and layout.

To print draft documents:

  1. Open the driver from your application's Print dialog Properties.

  2. Choose the Image Options tab.

  3. Select Conserve Dry Ink.

  4. Click OK.
