The Language Editor Dialog

You may create a new language or a new language group in this dialog.

Option description

New (button) Opens the New Language or Language group dialog. You may create a new language or a new language group in this dialog.
Edit (button) Opens the Language Properties dialog or the Language Group Properties dialog. You may respectively edit a user language or a language group in these dialogs. Typical editing actions are adding and deleting characters to/from the recognition set. 
Delete (button) Deletes a user language or language group.

Note:If you delete a user language included in some language group, the group is deleted too. 

Show this language in the drop-down list on the toolbar Adds the language you select to the list displayed on the Standard toolbar.
User-defined languages folder All user languages together with dictionaries attached to them are saved in the batch folder by default.

You may use another folder to store the user language database, e.g., a network folder. If such is the case, other users may be able to work with the same user languages and, particularly, add words to the same user dictionary. 

If you'd like to change the user language database folder, click the Change button.

Note: The correct processing of user dictionaries requires that the users who work with them have writing rights for the folder the dictionaries are stored in.

Change button Use this button to specify the folder to store the user language database in (the database contains user language groups as well as user languages together with dictionaries attached to them).
