To add files to an existing archive, select Add from the
File menu or click on the
Add speed
button on the toolbar. If you create a new archive, Add Files
Window is opened automatically when you select a file name for the
new archive.
In the Add Files Window you can select all the files and
directories you want to add to your archive, check the options,
select the compression rate and also can choose a password for
selected files.
After clicking on the OK button the adding procedure starts. You
can't do anything while IZArc adds the
files.
If you want to cancel the Adding process, just click on the red
light of the right bottom of the application.
Another way to add files to an archive is dragging files into
IZArc
Window directly from the Desktop or from Windows Explorer.

|
Relative - the initial
directory where the compressor starts reading files from disk is
treated as the root directory. Files compressed from the
initial directory are not stored with directory names, but files
compressed from subdirectories of this directory are stored with
directory names relative to this initial directory. This is
to allow the recreation of an archives directory structure with a
user specified initial directory. |
·
|
Relative Store Start -
same as "Relative", but one
directory back from the initial directory will be treated as the
root directory. |
(e.g. if you selected

"Docs\").

using disk file's date being compressed. |
