Unlike traditional mail, which is delivered to you by the post office, e-mail is a pull service. People send messages to your e-mail account and you retrieve them from there.


The Bat! allows you to use multiple e-mail accounts with different services.


Each account has its own settings: Properties, Templates, Folders, Filters, and so forth. The easiest way to access these is the Account menu; in some cases, like the Sorting Office, you can switch accounts within a dialog box.
