The Bat! keeps messages
in folders, generating a familiar folder tree, much as Windows®
Explorer uses. This helps you to easily organize your e-mail.
Whenever you create an account, The Bat! generates four default
folders:
Inbox
|
for incoming mail
|
Outbox
|
for outgoing messages
|
Sent
|
for sent messages
|
Trash
|
for deleted mail*
|
You cannot delete these folders or move them to a level below
root.
*Beware: You cannot
retrieve messages after deleting them from the Trash folder!
Beside these default folders, you can create any number of other
folders, building your own hierarchy. Using filters, you can automatically store any incoming
or outgoing messages in any folder.
You can also sort messages manually to folders (drag and
drop).
