To process media information immediately

When you update media information for your digital media files, it may take some time for changes that are displayed in your library to be stored in the files on your computer. For example, if you corrected album information for a large number of music files, retrieval of updated album art from the database can be delayed if the updated media information has not been stored in the file.

Windows Media Player includes the Process Media Information Now command so that the media information changes that you make can be stored in your files immediately:
