To update information about an album

1. Click Library, and then in the Contents pane, expand the All Music and Album categories.
2. Right-click the album, and then click Find Album Info.

   The Player accesses the database hosted by WindowsMedia.com and displays information about the album in the Album Information pane.

3. Follow the instructions in the Album Information pane for updating the information.

   When you finish updating information about an album, the updates that you made are added to your library and submitted to the WindowsMedia.com database. It may take some time for your changes to appear in the WindowsMedia.com database on the Internet.

Caution

• You can also right-click the album, and then click Update Album Info to update information about an album. However, when you click Update Album Info, the information is updated instantaneously. We recommend that you use this command only if you want to overwrite any changes that you have made manually to the information for the selected album with the album information stored in the WindowsMedia.com database.

Notes

• You must be connected to the Internet to use Update Album Info.
• You can only update album information for albums displayed in your library.
