To view information about a CD

Before you rip tracks from the CD to your library, in the Rip feature, click the View Album Info button .
Information about the CD, if available, is displayed in the Media Information pane.
If you are playing the CD, click Now Playing.
Detailed information about the CD, if available, is displayed in the Info Center View pane. Album art and the album title, if available, are displayed in the Media Information pane.

In Rip, you can simultaneously view album information and the list of tracks by moving the mouse pointer to the top border of the Media Information pane. When the pointer changes into a vertical double-headed arrow, drag the border.
In Rip, you can hide the Media Information pane by clicking the View Album Info button again.
In Now Playing, you can hide the Media Information pane. On the View menu, click Now Playing Options, and then click Show Media Information.
You can use the Guide feature to search a database hosted by WindowsMedia.com for additional information about the CD that you are playing, the artist, reviews, and related artists.
