Create a New Archive

You can create a new archive by selecting the New item of the File menu or by using the speed button New.

Then in the open dialog you have to choose a name for the archive. This dialog is a standard windows open dialog, you can choose the drive and the folder, or if you need another, create folder and then you can create the new archive you want it to be. If you choose a name of an existing archive, IZArc will ask you if you want to overwrite it.

After choosing the name of the new archive, a new window will be open, where you can select which files to add in

the new archive. In this dialog you can add a password to the archive to be password protected.
