Activation and Registration

This chapter contains information about activating dictionaries and registering ABBYY Lingvo 12.

After you install ABBYY Lingvo 12, the dictionaries are running in trial mode. You need to activate the dictionaries to use them in full mode.

Any additional dictionaries you purchase and add to the ABBYY Lingvo Bookshelf also require activation to be used in full mode.

Registration is optional and provides a number of benefits.
