Setting Up Dictionaries

Lingvo will look up a word only in the active dictionaries for the current translation direction. If a word has been found in more than one dictionary, the dictionary cards will be arranged in order of priority.

You can enable/disable dictionaries and change their priorities in the Dictionaries dialog box (Tools>Dictionaries).

 Note: To display the menu bar, tap (Translation Direction) on the main window toolbar.

To raise/lower the priority of a dictionary, select the dictionary in the list and:

• Tap to move the dictionary up, or
• Tap to move the dictionary down.

Tapping displays a brief description of the selected dictionary.
