Menus and Commands

Main Window Menus

Tapping (Translation Direction) on the main window toolbar displays the main menu bar with the following menus:

Card Menus

Tapping on the card toolbar displays the card menu bar with the following menus:

Main window menus: Action

Item Description
Translate Translates the text in the search field.

Translate Clipboard

Translates the text in the Clipboard.
History... Opens the History... window which displays a list of previously opened cards. Tapping an item in the list opens the corresponding card.

Main window menus: Edit

Item Description
Copy Copies the selected text to the Clipboard.
Paste Copies the text from the Clipboard into the search field.
Keyboard Shows/hides the on-screen keyboard.
Graffiti Help Opens a window with the Graffiti strokes. Use this command whenever you need to remember a Graffiti stroke.

Item Description
Dictionaries... Opens the Dictionaries dialog box, where you can add and remove dictionaries to/from the Bookshelf.
Options... Opens the Options dialog box.
About Lingvo... Opens the About ABBYY Lingvo 12 Palm window, which contains brief information about the program.

Item Description
Lingvo... Opens the main window.
History... Opens the History... window which displays a list of previously opened cards. Tapping an item in the list opens the corresponding card.
