In Money, you
can link a file on your computer, such as an image or document, to
a specific transaction with which it is associated.
Click Banking, click Account
List, and then click the account you want.
In the Account register, right-click the
transaction to which you want to link your file, and then click
Link to Image or Other File.
In the Link to File dialog, browse to the file
you want, and then click Link to File.
File linking is available only if you are using the Advanced
Account Register. To find out which register you're using, look for
the Essential Register or Advanced
Register label in the upper-right corner of the account
You can link only one file to each transaction.
Money will display a paperclip icon in the follow-up column for
transactions to which a file has been linked.
To simplify managing your linked files, create a separate folder
(My Money Linked Files, for example) on your hard
disk in the same folder that your Money file is saved in. When you
want to create a link to a file, copy the file to that folder, and
then create the link. When you back up your file, you can also copy
this folder to easily back up your linked files.
