With Insights, you can quickly and easily get an overview of your spending, cash flow, and bills. Insights uses information from your Money file to help you keep track of upcoming or overdue bills, how you are doing with budgeted spending in categories you specify, and whether you have enough money coming in to cover your expenses and spending. Shortcuts from Insights to Money make it easy to update your Money file and keep your information up to date.

You can set Insights to start when you log on to Windows, so you get an updated overview of your finances without opening Money. Or you can start Insights yourself from the Programs list on your computer. After Insights is running, you can open it at any time by clicking the Insights icon in the Windows notification area on the far right of the taskbar. This icon will look different if you have an alert or there is an error .
