Change the dates or display options in a
chart
You can
customize a chart to show data from a different time period. With a
price history chart, you can also change display options to show
events (such as splits and dividends), a logarithmic scale, price
limit lines, and gridlines.
- At the top of the page, click Investing, and
then click Stocks or Funds.
- Type a company name or ticker symbol in the Name or
symbol box, and then click Get Quote.
If there are several possible matches, choose a stock or fund
from the Search Results list.
- In the left pane under Charts, click
Historical.
- At the top of the chart, click the Period
arrow, and then click a time period. If the time period you want
doesn't appear in the Period list, click
Custom, enter a date range, and then click
OK.
Tip
For a custom date range, the date units must be smaller than the
date range selected-that is, to see a chart with a unit of years,
the date range must include more than one year.
Historical.
- At the top of the chart, click the Chart
arrow, and then click Price History.
- Click the Chart arrow again, and then click
Display Options.
- Select the options you want, and then click
OK.
