You must be connected to the Internet to set up a Windows Live ID. Check your Internet connection, and then try again. To learn more, see Find out whether your computer's Internet connection is working.

To sign in to a site that uses Windows Live ID, you must configure your browser to allow cookies.

1. In Windows Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
2. Click the Privacy tab, and then click Advanced.
3. Select the Override automatic cookie handling check box, and then select the Always allow session cookies check box.
4. Click OK, and then click OK again.

Go to the Windows Live ID page, and then at the bottom of the page, click Help.
